What we do

We’ll start with a 30-minute complimentary phone call to get acquainted and answer all of your questions.

We can then schedule your first in-home or virtual appointment. Sessions last from 3-5 hours. You can choose to book one or multiple sessions. If you choose to have a “tidy marathon” where you do your whole house, we’ll schedule your next appointment after each tidy session. (For most categories, there will be homework.)

At our first in-person (or virtual) visit, we’ll create a vision for your ideal lifestyle. Here’s your opportunity to dream your best dream about the life you want to live in your home. I’ll answer any more questions you have, and we’ll dive into tidying! We’ll tackle one category at a time, then you’ll begin to hone your ability to determine what sparks joy for you. Only then can you decide what to gratefully discard.

Once we have finished the “joy check” and you have decided what you will discard, we’ll focus on storage for the category. We’ll focus on simple storage solutions, using items you already have (shoe boxes, jewelry boxes, etc).

I am a professional organizer and KonMariTM Consultant-In-Training based in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in helping people see their space and their lives in a new way.

Experience has taught me that an organized space uplifts your life. I don’t know about you, but I have always found a disorganized space to be demoralizing and distracting.

This process can be overwhelming and stressful, so I work with you to choose what sparks joy for you, and where and how to store it. I use the the KonMari Method® to help you make mindful, long-lasting, life-changing choices. Your job in this partnership is to follow your joy by your choices of what to keep and what to let go of. My job is to guide you through every step of the process.

I am encouraging, motivating, empathetic, calm and compassionate. I’ve been there too, so I’m making no judgements. I’m great at reimagining your space and together, we’ll create systems that are simple, intuitive, work for your lifestyle and are easily implemented and maintained.

After all decisions are made, we organize, set up systems, and begin creating new habits.

We can use what you already have to organize, or I can recommend products that would improve the function or look of the space.

The real magic happens when you complete all of the categories (clothing, books, papers, miscellaneous, and sentimental items). Surround yourself with joy, reconnect to your authentic self and your values. You can truly breathe again. Over the years, I have spent a lot of time trying to organize my home, reading books and jumping in with enthusiasm. I’ve tried my own methods (sort one drawer a day, declutter one day a week, when was the last time I used it or wore it?). My home was never organized, and I gave up my attempts easily because none of the methods really served my needs.

When I used the KonMari method, it transformed my life. My home is a place now that I love to be. The “cluttered” feeling is gone, replaced by a sense of calm, quiet serenity. I’m not a minimalist by any stretch of the imagination, but being surrounded by the things I love has allowed me to spread my wings. And the fact that I know where to find anything in my house: priceless!
