What we believe
We believe small changes in our own small environment can have a big impact on our personal wellbeing, as well as the lives of others.
We believe that the home is a sanctuary that nourishes us on our journey in life and allows us to greatly impact the world around us.
We believe that a home is a place to display all the things we treasure, surrounding ourselves with objects that light us up and inspire us to be the best version of ourselves.
MEET DIANE
My name is Diane Sawyer. Prior to reading Marie Kondo’s book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up in 2017, I had spent most of my adult life trying to organize my home, but it never seemed to work out. I wasn’t a hoarder, but there was always too much stuff lying around. By the time I found Marie, I had pretty much given up on ever being truly organized.
Marie’s book changed my defeated mind, and I eagerly embarked on the challenge. With a step-by-step approach, I knew I could manage my “stuff.” Even as I started this process, my life transformed. Within six months, I was losing weight, my relationships were improving and I began to have realistic goals that were easier to achieve. One year, two years, and no rebound to my old, disorganized ways.
Having always been interested in organizing, I realized that nothing would spark greater joy for me than working with others to assist them in receiving the same amazing results in their lives. So I attended consultant training for Marie’s method. It was an enchanted, whirlwind weekend, and I loved every minute of it.
When I returned home, I was ready to rock ‘n’ roll. I retired from a career in graduate medical education and launched Your Tidy Life. The joy and friendship I have gained from my clients is present in my life everyday.
As a Certified Consultant for KonMari®, I work with people in all walks of life to achieve control of their lives through tidying their homes. Letting go of the things that are holding us back and choosing intentionally what we want to keep readies us to go confidently into a brand-new way to experience the world. Creating intentional physical spaces lead us to emotional and behavioral shifts in our lives in remarkable ways.
